Royden Country Park:
From Peel Hey there are spectacular views across open countryside and we are just a short walk from Royden Country Park where there are extensive woodland paths to Thurstaston Hill and beyond.
It's a great place to walk and reflect on life.

During the summer months, the model railway is often running and at other times the walled garden is a delight to see.

Within Royden Park is Hillbark, a magnificent Elizabethan style mansion which was originally built in 1891for the soap merchant Robert William Hudson. It was moved to its present site , brick by brick, in 1931.
